Air-rite recently had the privilege of installing HVAC systems throughout the newly built Cuskelly Library Extension for the renowned Downlands College in Toowoomba.
The library extension was undertaken by iQ Construct and included the full refurbishment and extension of a double-storey library and administration building. This new extension of the heritage brick building means that the school has access to a brand-new library, meeting rooms, admin facilities and general learning areas for students to explore, learn and grow. This new extension also includes people with disabilities bathrooms, ramp access, and a lift.
Air-rite was tasked with installing the HVAC system throughout this newly refurbished two-storey building. Our scope of work on this project included the following:
- VRF Systems
- DX Systems
- Outside air systems
- DETE controls
- Energy recovery ventilators (ERV’s)
- Mechanical electrical switchboards
- Toilet ventilation
We hope that the staff and students of Downlands College can enjoy learning and studying in their newly extended library and administration centre.
